Ask a question, you’ll get an answer. In New York City Ballet’s Learning Center, NYCB is the “quiz master” and you, the viewer, get to supply the answers. There are online games and features in this section designed for all knowledge levels and to introduce you to the many facets of ballet: historic moments, technical terminology, important personalities, the world of backstage, and current events.  Spend even a few moments in the Learning Center, and you are sure to come away with information new to you. If you devote more time to these online activities, your friends will think you are an authority on the subject!

Most of all, we hope you have fun and enjoy the many opportunities here to learn about the amazing world of ballet. Be surprised when you read the Ballet Alphabet and find out what 26 things one of our dancers, Dena Abergel, wants to share with our viewers. Increase your understanding of George Balanchine by watching his Timeline or playing our word game, By George. Today in History will test your memory. The crossword puzzles and Trivia are for those really looking for an intellectual challenge.

Come back often as new questions and features will be coming online in the weeks and months ahead.
